I was scouting for inspiration during the late afternoon . I spotted a a fisherman at the edge of the river.The sunlight created intriguing patterns on his shoulders. I witnessed similar scenarios many times during my youth in New Smyrna Beach.I painted as I observed the fisherman for several hours that day. My subject continued fishing and I painting until the light was low in the sky.
